How to Organise Turns When a Whole Class Uses Eduzo

For a class of 30 children, a predictable turn-taking routine matters as much as the activity itself. Eduzo offers automatic roll call, manual student selection and shared play formats so teachers can organise sessions around their purpose.

Use automatic roll call for a planned sequence

Set a playing time for each child and enable automatic roll call. Eduzo calls children in sequence and presents questions for their turns.

This is useful when each child needs an individual opportunity to practise or respond after a topic has been taught. Explain the route to the play spot before starting and allow each child to settle into position.

For 30 children, 40 seconds each gives 20 minutes of playing time. At 60 seconds each, playing time is 30 minutes. Instructions and changeovers require additional time.

Use manual selection for a specific purpose

Manual selection lets the teacher choose a student and adjust the playing time. It can be useful for a demonstration, a follow-up check or another attempt after an explanation.

Keep these turns connected to a clear need. An additional turn can check one skill without requiring the whole class to repeat the session.

Choose team play for collaborative practice

Teachers can create teams or use the dashboard's team allocation. Set rounds that fit the lesson and explain how children will contribute.

Within a team, rotate the player and invite different children to explain the choice. The shared answer is evidence of the team's work; individual understanding needs an individual opportunity to respond.

Use whole-class activities for a shared recap

A short whole-class activity can revisit previous learning. Establish how the class will take part in the selected format, including who controls the on-screen response.

Shared participation does not automatically mean every child's answer is captured individually. Choose the mode that fits the evidence you need.

Keep the routine fair

Include children who were absent or missed a turn. If a child needs a different response method or more time, plan that support without making speed the measure of success.
